Lakers Struggles Continue

Posted: January 8, 2013 in Uncategorized

Its hard for me to believe as I sit here and write this, but I have actually been holding my breath in anticipation of the LAkers reaching .500.
That is how low things are in the once mighty Staples Center. After the losing three games in a row, thus bringing their overall record to 15-18, it looks as if I may need some oxygen– quick.
Yesterday there were rumors [substaniated or not] of Dwight Howard and Kobe getting into an altercation in the locker room. Although both players deny reports, they did playful pose for a twitter pic in which the caption read ‘Black Mamba vs, D12…its on’.
Then just last night across the breaking news wire came the report that Howard has a torn labrum and will miss at least a week. But no that’s not all, Pau Gasol is also out indefintely with a boo boo [concussion] that he recieved after a glancing blow to the head in the Denver game.
This leads me to wonder…can things actually get worse out on the left coast?
