As I don’t care about any of the teams left in the NFL playoffs, last night’s BCS National title game was for me the last big football game of the year. It turned out to be a huge dissappointment to fans, such as myself who had been eagerly waiting and anticipating a good ball game.

What we got instead was a blowout. From the opening whistle, it looked as thought the Irish were outmatched. In the trenches, on both sides of the ball, Alabama had their way.

I imagined the TV sets across the nation changing stations after The Crimson Tide scored their 3rd touchdown of the first half to give them a 21-0 lead in the second quarter.

So now all we are left with is ESPN to sing the praises of the great just ask the Dolphins Nick Saban, and the complete dominace of the stacked SEC. I guess I will just have to spend the offseason following the Chicago Bears coaching search and watching my beloved Lakers cruise to the playoffs.

Wait…what was that? The Lakers record is WHAT?!
